A sketch I made on my break at work today. Pen and ink (Very Fine Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball, my favorite) on, uh, whatever kind of paper is in my sketchbook.

Look, I was very specific about the pen.

I did crosshatching on the hair because I was trying to cover up the thumbnail gestures I did when I started. Not crazy about the outcome.

i like her expression. i think crosshatching is not the right option for hair. if you like to hatch, try using parallel hatch lines that describe the motion and direction of the hair.
